With only a week to go, Lisbon are ready to embark on their latest UK tour kicking it off with hometown show at Newcastle’s Think Tank, and then stopping off in Brighton to hit up quirky venue The Green Door Store.
Support for the night comes from Brighton locals Stranger Girl on the opening slot. Stranger Girl are a band that are continuing on from solo artist’s Eliza Faie’s project. This gig is their debut show as a full band so make sure you head down early enough to catch them.
London based three-piece Brontë are next up on the bill with their enthusiastic indie pop tunes. Their recently released debut EP titled Hands portrays a expressive melodies and feel-good riffs, reminiscent of Saint Raymond. Title track is our favourite here at Cracked Vinyl and is definitely a song to check out.
Main support for the evening comes from indie quartet Wild Front. After recently supporting Victoria on their latest UK tour the band are all set for another amazing support slot before their Brighton headline show at the end of April.
In recent track Tyler, Lisbon have released their new and evolved sound, which we are loving by the way. After a long break, the band are back sounding bigger and better than ever. Tyler combines their previous, lovable indie sound with thicker beats sounding slightly more electronic yet hip-hop-esque. Be sure to head on down to The Green Door Store on Tuesday 11th for their amazing gig, buy your ticket now for only £6.
